Fee for a detective
Private investigator fee
Private investigator fee
The initial consultation in our detective agency is always free of charge and completely without obligation.
Each service provided by a detective is charged according to the time spent.
In addition to the hourly fee, there are the usual incidental expenses such as mileage, telephone costs, any cash and out-of-pocket expenses. We will be happy to detail these for you in writing afterwards. In difficult cases, we can agree on an organizational fee (for reporting and telephone calls) or on a package price that includes all services.
The cost of detective work varies significantly, depending on the extent of work. However, due to our many years of experience, we guarantee efficient service provision in order to keep detective costs as low as possible.
We can provide you with dependable information on the fee after an initial consultation, as the effort involved must be tailored to the respective case and thus varies greatly.
Under the title of compensation for damages pursuant to Sec. 1295 ABGB (Austrian Civil Code), compensation for all detective costs can be claimed from the liable party in many cases. Consequently, the client will be refunded the entire fee and will not incur any costs. A good example of this is the surveillance costs of providing evidence in cases of adulterous relationships or employee disloyalty.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We will be happy to advise you in a free initial consultation!
Did you know that private detectives can be called as witnesses in court?
The private detectives can be called as witnesses in the course of a possible court hearing (divorce proceedings, labour court proceedings, etc.).
The costs for personal surveillance can also be recovered as compensation for damages in accordance with §1295 ABGB (Austrian Civil Code) from the injuring party or, for example, the perpetrator of the marital offence.
This means that the total costs of the surveillance may have to be borne by the other party.
